It has been since the end of Foster's service to his God, Family, and Country he has not shared his stories about his experiences with the Corps during World War II but recently I have been visiting with him and this is one of the stories that he has been willing to share with the press. He is starting to share more of his stories with me but I will not print them unless he tells me it is ok. This man was a huge influence of myself and two of his Sons also joining and serving in the United States Marine Corps. We, as Americans owe a lot to these heros of a very special generation of Marines!
